Moving to the Oklahoma City area?
Moving to a new town is stressful on its own, without adding the daunting task of shopping for a place to live plus finding the right Realtor. At Metro Properties, I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by following a refined process designed to make the most of your search efforts.
When relocating, you probably won't have the time to look at every home on the market. Most likely, you'll have the time to be shown a couple dozen, so pare down your list first thing with this advice:
- Arrive into town with two lists: One should be of things you require in your new home. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house can't fulfill your basic needs, we can naturally eliminate it from the list.
- Know your budget. If you are getting a mortgage, have your pre-approved amount prior to seeing listings so we can eliminate homes beyond your budget.
- How long of a commute are you ready to make each day to your job and other activities? Traffic in the Oklahoma City area could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so let me know your desired drive-time, and I'll locate homes accordingly.
I can send you my best recommendations before we meet in person. Or if you've already started your search, let me know what you've found. While virtual tours and photos are great, there's nothing like walking through homes in person. I can schedule any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. If we work efficiently, we could go to 8 to 10 homes in a single day.
